When I was pregnant for the first time I wanted to know how to be prepared for the arrival of our new baby. A friend of mine sent me a list of carefully selected items for my “baby shopping list.” This was a list curated and edited by not only my friend but the friend who passed down this list to her and I imagine the friend who passed it down to her. Having this shopping list was such a blessing and I shared it with all of my newly pregnant friends and over time I added to it things that I loved for toddlers and older kids.

I loved asking my friends in other countries, what their lists were and adding their insights to my “list”. I enjoyed scouring baby boutiques and online shops for beautiful and creative things for my children and my friends’ children and add them to my “list”. This site is a simple effort to share this list with all the parents, grandparents, and friends who also want to know—what does a new mama need ? What are the best of the best products out there? Where can I find unique and interesting gifts for children?
